Shooting Stars sports Club coach Fatai Amoo has admitted that the absence of their hitman Gbolahan Salami was part of the reasons their attack was weak when they hosted league leaders at the MKO Abiola Stadium in Abeokuta on Sunday
He said his presence in the attack on Sunday would have added more strenght and vigor in to their attacking in that game.
"We are missing Gbolahan Salami in the attack of our team of which I believe if he was fielded, he would have added so much vigor into the game and his fighting spirit would have helped us converted most of our chnces," Amoo said
The 3SC gaffer said they not lost hope in the title contention of the country's topflight adding that they still have about tweenty-one more games before the end of the season.
Our game with the league leaders have shown that we are not faring badly but only needed to organise ourselves well so that we can win away games and rise to the top of the league table.
He added"We still have upto twenty-one league games to go, though we have not done well on the league table so far but we can turn the table to our favour and rise to the top of the league,"
"The way we played against Dolphins today shows that we are not doing bad only that we have not been fantastic in ouraway games which I believe is responsible for our present position on the table."
